Joseph Weber To Join Neiman Marcus Group As Chief Human Resources Officer

DALLAS, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Karen Katz, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Neiman Marcus Group, announced today that Joseph Weber would be joining the company September 4 th, as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.  Mr. Weber will be responsible for all areas of human resources and loss prevention including associate relations, learning and development, recruitment, compensation, internal communications, and benefits.

Mr. Weber joins Neiman Marcus from Bank of America Corporation, where he held various positions, most recently Head, Human Resources EMEA, Latin America and Canada.  Prior to Bank of America, he was with Dell, Inc. and General Electric Company.  

The Neiman Marcus Group operations include the Specialty Retail Stores segment and the Direct Marketing segment. The Specialty Retail Stores segment consists primarily of Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman stores.
