NMG's people strategy, The Power of One, is built on the core concept of respect for one another, as well as a commitment to creating an environment where each associate is accepted, valued, and given an opportunity to achieve their personal best. In our first People Report, we detail the objectives, processes, and results of the Power of One strategy, which begins and ends with the voice of our associates.

STEP 1:

We surveyed our associates on what they cared about most. The results?

STEP 2:

We assessed NMG’S policies and programs against these priorities – and invested more deeply into each of them. A few highlights include:

  • NMG | WOW Way of Working, a forward-thinking working culture centered around flexibility
  • Enhanced Parental Leave and Family Leave Plans
  • New Talent Development programs in partnership with McKinsey and The Energy Project
  • Established 2025 ESG Goals
STEP 3:

Eighteen months later, we repeated the survey to measure our progress:

  • Increased our employee net promoter score by 34%
  • Recognized with multiple awards include best places to work for women and the LGBTQ+ community
  • Improved our time to hire rate by 31%
